Description
Dr. Nargish Akhter is an Internal Medicine physician providing inpatient care at Massena Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Chittagong Medical College in Bangladesh and completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Dr. Akhter’s training spans inpatient and outpatient medicine, pulmonary and critical care, oncology, and rehabilitation, giving her broad experience in caring for patients with complex and chronic conditions. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Outside of medicine, she enjoys photography, cooking, reading, and South Asian music.
